seeks to establish itself in our country and requires permits
for its management team and key personnel.
Promoting the Development of MSMEs
The Government is firmly dedicated to the growth
and expansion of micro and small and medium sized
enterprises (or MSMEs) in The Bahamas.
It is widely
acknowledged that these enterprises comprise the so-called
backbone of the private sector and are responsible for
generating the bulk of new job opportunities.
Central to our thrust in this area is the strategy to
promote the development of MSMEs that is founded on

to
guide
specific
policy
prescriptions for these enterprises, These seven key policy
