OUTREACH AND EDUCATION
Philanthropic Support
Our work would not be possible without the philanthropic support of multiple partner organizations, including CoBank,
the Denver Firefighters Charitable Foundation, QEP Resources, BCER Engineering, Inc., All 4 Fun Mile High Jeep Club,
Colorado Fire Protection Association, Schomp Automotive, Western States Fire Protection Association, American Camping
Association and the Colorado Firefighter Calendar.
We appreciate their volunteer efforts and financial contributions, both of which contribute to the growth and development
of our trauma and burn centers.

The Juvenile Fire-Setting Evaluation and Treatment Program was designed
in response to the increasing need for specialized community services
addressing juvenile fire-setting behaviors. Individually or in multifamily

58 We provide and participate in a wide range of events, from community
and fundraising activities to conferences and continuing education for
medical professionals. Our injury prevention program has a long history of
advocating to improve the health and safety of children.
58 In 2017, we hosted a community support activity for families healing from a
burn injury at Winter Skate in Louisville, Colorado. The community events
provide opportunities for connecting families to other families, the fire
service and community partners.
