Dear Athlete,
Dutchess Community College, part of the State University of New
York, is proud to be a Walkway Over the Hudson partner and to be
involved in the race weekend’s events. We’re especially pleased to
have our campus serve as the starting point for the 5K College to
College Run.
For those who are new to the Hudson Valley, we extend a warm
welcome and look forward to seeing you on the race course. We hope
you have some time to enjoy the area’s rich history, great restaurants
and recreational opportunities.
Whether you start the 5K on our campus or run the half or full
marathon, you’ll notice that Dutchess Community College is well
represented throughout this exciting and fun event. The Dutchess United Educators and Dutchess Community College
Foundation volunteers will be handling the Morgan Lake hydration station and many Dutchess Community College
students, alumni, faculty and staff will be running in this premier local event, including me!
It’s always a pleasure working with the Walkway Over the Hudson and the hundreds of local organizations, agencies
and businesses that come together to orchestrate this amazing event. We hope you have a great time, a successful race
and perfect weather!
