The preliminary data analysis relied on Glenview’s Geographical Information System (GIS) Consortium and several free data portals including: Cook County data, Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Map, and the U.S. Census. The six-county metropolitan area is home to about 8.5 million people, encompassing 3,749 square miles of land and water.
