Due to its proximity to Chicago,
there are a number of excellent data
sources available for the area. The
preliminary data analysis relied on
Glenview’s Geographical Information
System (GIS) Consortium and several
free data portals including: Cook
County data, Chicago Metropolitan
Agency for Planning (CMAP), Illinois
Department of Transportation (IDOT),
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National
Map, and the U.S. Census. All maps,
data layers were mapped using ESRI’s
ArcGIS mapping software.
