Goals As change occurs, the comprehensive plan becomes a valuable tool to ensure that Glenview can maintain its common values. To safeguard Glenview’s future land use mix and continue to embody the Vision described in this Comprehensive Plan, proposals for any development will need to justify its request by demonstrating conformance with this comprehensive plan, meeting the requirements of the Village’s ordinances, and illustrating how the proposed development will supplement and/or raise the quality of life in Glenview. Following is a list of Goals to support the implementation of this chapter. LU-1.3 LU-1.4 Architectural design adjacent to natural, historic, or cultural sites shall be respectful and in harmony to the existing sites.
