disciples. Mass—and particularly the homily—will be a time to
reflect on these themes and ponder the movements of the Holy
Spirit in your and other participants’ hearts and minds.
• Try to arrive in the worship space early enough to be able
to quietly recollect your thoughts before Mass.
• Remember that the Mass is a unifying moment for the
Church; pray for peace and healing of divisions within the
Body of Christ.
• Pray for the Church in the United States and for all God’s
people, especially those on the peripheries and those dis-
connected from the faith community.
