Your committee members submit the financial statements of the Science Teachers’
Association of New South Wales Inc. for the year ended 31 December, 2017.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
The principal activities of the Association during the financial year were to provide
members with high quality professional development on key issues in science
education, to promote science education as a profession and to represent members
as a professional body.
SIGNIFICANT CHANGES
No significant change in the nature of these activities occurred during the year.
OPERATING RESULT
The surplus from ordinary activities amounted to $189,036.
