An opportunity to serve as the hands and feet of Christ
WORK GROUPS AT G R E E N L A K E
Work groups at Green Lake Conference Center have fulfilling, bonding experiences!
Projects
There are lots of opportunities to serve as the
hands and feet of Christ at Green Lake! Projects are
available at all skill levels and are scheduled all year.
Inside and outside, all across the grounds there are
buildings waiting to be updated.
We always need people whose skills include
carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, painting,
gardening, auto maintenance and appliance repair.
We need jacks-and-jills-of-all-trades, too, and plenty
of helpers.
Participation
Participation comes from church groups, youth
groups, secular groups, family groups and also
from skilled individuals who bring special gifts which
provide professional assistance in key areas. The
group has a regular work day of 7-8 hours with short
breaks and time for lunch.
An afternoon off is provided for groups that come
for a week or more and work Monday-Friday. Work
groups receive staff discounts at Worldwide Gifts,
Troster Art Studios and the Country Store (when
those locations are open). Work group participants
who work 40 hours per week can enjoy a free round
of golf during the time they are here.

People, prayer and
donations needed to
make dreams a reality
Gifts for General Support. Financial gifts maintain and
improve the facilities, provide programming, and fund
scholarships that enable hundreds of pastors, lay persons,
youth and adults to come for conferences who would
otherwise not have been able to attend.
Help restore Roger Williams Inn. Roger Williams
Inn is one of Green Lake Conference Center’s iconic
treasures. Built in 1930, its
once beautiful exterior has
visibly deteriorated and its
interior needs renovation. Visit
RogerWilliamsInn.com to learn
about the hotel’s fascinating
history and how you can help
restore this jewel!
Donate a Vehicle. Gently used vehicles help us cover the
needs across our 900 acres. The old car, truck or van you
didn’t think was worth a trade-in (gently used or even in
a little tougher shape) may be put to good use at Green
Lake. If you live within a full day ’s drive of Green Lake,
we’ll pick it up. We can make arrangements for further
distances.
Planned Giving. Planned Giving is a wonderful way
to include Green Lake in your estate plans. There are
several ways that you can make a planned gift to Green
Lake. One way is through a gift annuity.
Stocks. The benefits of donating appreciated securities
(either stocks or mutual funds) are tremendous. This is
an excellent way to leverage your gift in support of our
ministry, while minimizing your tax expense.
Matching Gifts. You may have the chance to multiply
the money that our ministry receives. Many businesses
— from large corporations to regional companies —
have matching gift programs set up to encourage their
employees to donate money to charities and public
service organizations.
Donations by mail. Make checks payable to
Green Lake Conference Center and send to:

Pray. Prayer is an important way you can support the
work of Green Lake Conference Center! Pray for God
to prepare people for their time at Green Lake and for
transformation to occur while they are here. Pray for
seminar participants to remember what God did while they
were here and for increase in ministry effectiveness when
they return home. Pray for God to spread the word about
Green Lake as a ministry resource for the spiritual journey.
