2017 PRINCIPAL CHARITY CLASSIC
PGA TOUR Champions and Principal celebrated
the 11th consecutive year of the Principal Charity
Classic in Des Moines. Played at the historic
Wakonda Club, the tournament once again
provided the Greater Des Moines area with
an exciting, family-friendly atmosphere while
providing a TV viewing audience with a first-
class competition. This year’s tournament was
highlighted by a field that included numerous
past tournament champions, top PGA TOUR
Champions rookies and reigning player of the
year Bernhard Langer. The tournament provided
exciting drama the entire way, with Brandt
Jobe holding off the a late push from defending
champion Scott McCarron and Kevin Sutherland
to win his first title on PGA TOUR Champions.

the communities we play lasts much longer than
just tournament week, with players, partners,
