A spider climbs his web,
a perfectly crafted, beautiful web.
A fly gets trapped.
He wasn't careless,
he just couldn't see the upcoming danger.
No one is safe from this silken sabotage,
until a water drop falls from the ceiling.
The spider tumbles from the web.
Down, down, down.
Until it reaches the floor,
away from all harm.
But the poor fly is still trapped in the spider's web.
No one comes to save him.
The spider scuttles and hides,
nothing will hurt him anymore.
But the same can not be said
for the poor fly.
