WHAT IS IT?
Talented high school and college students submitted their prose, poetry, and/or short stories to be reviewed in competition for valuable prizes.
Subject matter should reflect peacemakers/peacemaking, non-violent efforts for change, selfless acts of heroism, tolerance and appreciation for diversity, highlights of people coming together to resolve differences, and social justice locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
At the subsequent Gala Event, attendees had a chance to meet famous professional poets and writers who shared their experience and talent with the younger generation.
