The annual Kin Karnival will be celebrating it’s 50th
anniversary this coming winter. Excitement is build-
ing for this years’ events which include the annual
Dog Sled races and competitive fishing derby.
MANITOU RAPIDS FISH FRY
The Dryden Days of Summer is a weekly afternoon
event which features family entertainment, bake
sales, spirited competitions, Aboriginal Artisan Fair,
Farmers Mark et, live music and more.

The FFCBC is a 3 day live release bass tournament
on Rainy Lake and is the biggest bass tournament
in the area. The town celebrates with events in the
days leading up to and during the tourney.
Each year on the Friday before walleye season
opens, the people of Manitou Rapids invite the
community & visitors to come and enjoy a free
feast of freshly cooked walleye and other local
delicacies.

The Emo Walleye is a fan favourite amongst locals
and travellers. The tournament registration is open
to all U.S. and Canadian citizens 12 years or older
and begins in early spring. The annual Norseman Festival draws thousands of
