The annual event is hosted at the Hyatt
Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte

“When folks walk into the Mecum auction
in Monterey, they step into an experience like no
other. It’s fast paced, it’s loud and it all unfolds live
on NBCSN,” says Sam Murtaugh, vice president
of Marketing and Presentation for Walworth,
Wisconsin-based Mecum Auctions.
“Throughout the four-day event, cars from all
genres will be offered, allowing buyers and sellers
from around the world an opportunity to participate
in the one-of-a-kind Mecum experience.”
From the Richard Burdick Central Texas
Museum of Automotive History Collection, the
452-cid, V-16 Caddy Coupe is one of 98 produced
with Fleetwood’s No. 4376S coupe body. Profes-
sionally restored on its 148-inch wheelbase, the
pre-war Classic is burgundy and vermillion red on
red, articulating the LeBaron-style curved hood and
cowl molding designed by Earl Carriage Works.
The white-liveried Lister-Jaguar, VIN BHL
102, from the Colin Comer Collection, is the
second of nine original Knobbly Jaguars. The
cars were campaigned from 1958 through 1960
by the Cunningham Team and driven by legends
such as Stirling Moss, Briggs Cunningham and
John Fitch. The Briggs Cunningham Team won

the 1958 SCCA National Championship with the
Lister-Jaguars.
The green-on-white 1987 Porsche 962, VIN/
Serial RLR106B was competed in Group C FIA
racing, and, before retiring, it had 12 podiums and
three overall wins in 40 races. After receiving a
restoration in 2014 by Retro Sport, Inc. in El Cerrito,
California, including a refreshed 5-speed gearbox
and transaxle, the car was publicly reintroduced
at the 2014 Monterey Motorsports Reunion at
Laguna Seca, California.
One of only 499, the 6.3-liter, 949-horse
LaFerrari, ZFF76ZFA2E0205216, has just 566
original miles and features a F1 7-speed dual clutch
gearbox. With a factory-rated top speed of 217 mph,
the carbon-fiber supercar has four-wheel Brembo
carbon ceramic disc brakes, a large adjustable spoiler
and movable diffuser flaps. The black leather and
Alcantara interior features red piping and a red
prancing horse embroidered in the head rests.
