Weight Calculator?

Knowing the correct doses
of wormer, vaccinations and
medications, etc. are a very
important part of Miniature
horse ownership. Large horse
weight tapes aren’t designed
for ponies or Miniatures
(especially those with longer
torsos). The nice folks at
Smartpak created the Equine
Weight Calculator that takes
into account a horse’s age,
length and heart girth (barrel),
making it easier to get an
accurate weight measurement.
They even take into account
whether your horse is a hard
keeper (horses that need to gain
weight),easy keeper (horses
that need to lose weight), a
senior or a growing horse. The
measurements needed are easy
to do – all you need is a soft,
