JUNIOR GIRLS GOLF GRANT PROGRAM

JUNIOR GIRLS SUPPORT

If an individual club wishes to sponsor a Junior girl member, they may do so, and PWGA will waive the membership fee until she turns 18.
Call the office for further details. This does not permit the Junior to participate in PWGA playdays or Major Tournaments, but does give them an established handicap for Local, State and National Junior Tournaments.

JUNIOR GIRLS GOLF GRANT PROGRAM

In 2002 the PWGA Executive Board made a commitment to support junior girls in golf. We have pledged $ 1000 a year to fund junior girls programs in our geographical areas. The funds may be increased through additional member donations and will be dispensed through a grant application process.
Additional funds are raised through raffles at the Spring Partners and Mixed Couples Tournaments. Prizes are donated by local golf courses and the response of members has been tremendous. In 2016 we raised over $ 4950 through these raffles. Generous donations from the Wildhawk WGC brought in $ 1800 to the program.
In 2016, through your generous support, PWGA awarded grants in the amount of $ 14,000 to 34 different Junior Girls Programs. If you are interested in obtaining information about our grant program, or making a donation, please contact the PWGA office. Thank you.
Grant Application forms are available online at: www. golfpwga. org. Applications are accepted March 1- August 31, 2017. www. GOLFPWGA. org 27 2017 PWGA Member Handbook
