The new Summerfield Village sign was installed earlier this month. The sign reflects the new design for the Lake Linganore Association village signs. Installation of other new village signs will begin this year and will be implemented over numerous years until all signage is similar in design and have been replaced. Each village will have their distinctive logos added to the signs. Summerfield’ s logo is a carriage.
Summerfield was the first sign to be installed using the new design due to a traffic accident that destroyed the original sign. The original sign had been in place for over 20 years. New landscaping for this sign will begin in the spring as weather permits.
The sign is located at the entrance of Summerfield Village on Boyers Mill Road. Be sure to check it out when you are in the area.
