The ONE Campaign is a grassroots advocacy and campaigning
organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease,
particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political
leaders to support smart and effective policies and programs that are
saving lives, helping to put kids in school and improving futures.
Cofounded by Bono and other campaigners, ONE is nonpartisan and
works closely with African activists and policy makers. Backed by a
movement of more than 3 million ONE members, ONE achieves change
through advocacy.

HOW TO HELP
Iowans can support the work of the ONE campaign by volunteering to join
in their grassroots advocacy efforts. Volunteers can become as involved
as they’d like, ranging from signing an online petition, to volunteering to
raise awareness at a concert or other event, to joining ONE as a core
volunteer who mobilizes others in the community to volunteer with ONE.
