Food Fellows is a grant-funded student cohort at The Ohio State
University that trains interdisciplinary students about food-related issues,
such as food policy, nutrition, agriculture, and food insecurity, through
research and service with various community agencies. The aim is to
mobilize students to take action against hunger in their community. The
students work with agencies, such as the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and the
Children's Hunger Alliance, conducting service and research to eliminate
hunger in the United States.

As a student cohort, Food Fellows aims to train students to become
change agents in their community. The Food Fellows model can be
adopted at other universities in order to mobilize students to change the
current health and hunger situation in their area. People wishing to
