CAST( the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology) is an organization composed of scientific societies and many individual, student, company, nonprofit, and associate society members. CAST publishes reports, commentary papers, and issue papers written by scientists from many disciplines, with the mission to assemble, interpret, and communicate credible science-based information to decision-makers and the general public. CAST addresses issues in animal sciences, food sciences and agricultural technology, plant and soil sciences, and plant protection sciences.
