Sacred signs are what Spirit puts on your path to guide you. You can ask for a sign and then go about your day and wait for the sign to appear in whichever way Spirit brings it. I ask Spirit to give me specific signs, within a specified time, to represent choices or decisions. I designate one sign for‘ yes’ or a specific course of action, and another for‘ no’ or other action.

You can ask for signs to appear within any timeframe; I have asked to be shown a sacred sign within twelve hours, or by the time my family gets home from work, by the end of the week etc. Although I haven’ t always found it necessary, you can ask for your sacred signs to be shown at least three times. If it resonates with you to do this, then by all means do so.

You can also ask for a personal sign. Whenever I see a bunch of multicoloured balloons, I know I’ ve made a strong decision. The trick is to have a sign that is rare so when it does appear, you know you’ re being shown the direction that’ s right for you.

Here is an example of how you could ask for sacred signs to help you:

You could begin by saying:‘ Angels, guides, enlightened beings, I ask for a sacred sign.’
