The G-Series machines feature significant undercarriage improvements
efficient throughout the day .
The forestry excavator , 2154G , 2654G , 3154G , and 3754G , are equipped with a side-entry cab , while log loaders , 2156G , 2656G , 3156G , and 3756G , are equipped with an elevated rear-entry cab . This allows for safe and easy entry and exit for the operator .
These elevated cabs feature floor-mounted windows to increase visibility to the tracks , helping the operator manoeuvre over difficult ground conditions . Additionally , a new cab-forward option on the 2156G , 2656G , and 3156G log loader models boost operator confidence , especially when swinging toward the boom side of the cab .
The new LED lighting options on all models expand the lighted area , giving the operator improved visibility and safety on the job site .
offer increased stability , additional lift capacity , and increased operator comfort .
Durable design The G-Series machines feature significant undercarriage improvements . With the updated larger lower rollers to the 2154G , 2156G , 3154G , and 3156G models and the option of longer track on the 2654G , 2656G , 3754G , and 3756G models ’ operators can expect a longer roller and track life . John Deere has also made improvements to the boom , arm , mainframe , and undercarriage that will increase the life of the
structures .
Additionally , the 3756G machines are now available with integrated hydraulic plumbing for the Waratah processing heads . This offers loggers a purchasable factory-installed solution across several models , including the 2154G , 2654G , 3156G , and 3756G models . This addition enhances configuration durability and increased machine efficiency .
Increased uptime Service has been simplified on all G-Series machines . The 3154G , 3156G , 3754G , and 3756G models have a 30 % reduction in electrical
components while the 2154G , 2156G , 2654G , and 2656G models have a 35 % reduction in electrical components . These reductions help reduce electrical-related downtime .
All models are also equipped with a larger cooling system with hydraulic reversing fans to increase airflow and lower operating temperature .
G-Series machines are equipped with larger service bays along with LED service lighting . Tilt-down service platforms are available on 3154G , 3156G , 3754G , and 3756G models and ground level services access , conveniently located filters , and test ports are available on 2154G , 2156G , 2654G , and 2656G models . These features allow for easier routine maintenance and increased uptime for all machines .
All G-Series machines can be combined with JDLink , the John Deere machine monitoring system and remote diagnostic service . JDLink allows fleet owners to track machine health , manage hours , and identify maintenance needs without a trip to the woods .
Improved performance In addition to the redesigned cab , the G-Series machines offer features to improve performance and uptime . The 3156G and 3154G models are equipped with a powerful 9 litre engine , along with a larger hydraulic pump and hydraulic cooling package , improve multifunctioning performance , reliability , durability , and performance for any big wood application .
The 2654G , 2656G , 3754G , and 3756G models are available with an optional longer track that will place more track on the ground that will All G-Series machines can be combined with JDLink , the John Deere machine monitoring system and remote diagnostic service
