The Jenz BA 965 DXL on tracks
Whether composting of green waste and organic waste , shredding of standing timber , roots and scrap wood or substrate fine crushing in biogas plants , Jenz biomass processors are used in different application areas . The mobile product range includes machines of different sizes .
The biomass processor BA 965 DXL has a length of 14 m in working position and a basic weight of 24.8 t , making it the strongest and biggest Jenz biomass processor . The machine is designed for universal deployment in the composting as well as for the shredding of scrap wood , standing timber or roots . The especially long belt hopper with a free loading length of 6 m and a bunker volume of 10 m3 guarantees a continuous flow of material and facilitates the feeding process . The draw-in is very generously dimensioned with a draw-in width of 1,620 mm and a draw-in height of 960 mm .
The strong add-on motor CAT C18 with 776 hp ensures sufficient power and a high throughput capacity . The grinder crushes up to 270 lcm / h garden waste , 350 lcm / h bark or 170 lcm / h scrap wood . At the same time , diesel consumption is pleasingly low , explained Thomas Helle , seller of the Norwegian Jenz distributor Magne Gitmark : “ The biggest surprise was the high throughput in comparison with the low diesel consumption . On average , the machine only used 25 litres diesel at a throughput of between 350- 410 lcm / h ”.
Depending on the customer ’ s request and application areas , the BA 965 DXL is offered in different
mounting alternatives . Mounted on a semi-trailer the machine can be transported with many semitrailer tractors and scores with its mobility with up to 80 km / h top speed . For the use in extreme terrain and difficult conditions , the BA is also available on caterpillar tracks and can be moved at 3.5 km / h .
With almost 11.8 m length , the biomass processor BA 725 D is one size smaller , but similarly sturdy and versatile . The machine is offered with either a 2-axle or 3-axle chassis , and is available
also on a semi-trailer . The latter construction also allows the construction of a BA 725 DXL with an especially long belt hopper of 5 m . In addition , the BA 725 D scores well with variable deployment areas , thanks to its flexible Twin- Gear drive , whereby the rotor speed can be adjusted according to the application field .
The biomass processor BA 915 D at 19 t is a lightweight among the Jenz grinders . It is designed mainly for the use in composting , biogas plants and light scrap wood .
The machine delivers a convincing performance , especially with its new designed maintenance access . The outfeed belt is now comfortably swivelled to the side at the push of a button , like a heavy safe door , so that access to the rotor can be carried out without obstacles . In this case , the important thing is that the wear parts can be changed in a comfortable , upright position .
Starting this autumn , the product range of the biomass processors will be additionally
supplemented by the new biomass processor BA 615 D . The ‘ little brother ’ of the BA 915 D is also designed for the use in composting and biogases plants , as well as for light scrap wood , such as pallets .
Compared to its predecessor , the AZ 460 D , the intake height will be increased by 30 %. Also , the intake width will increase from 1,200 to 1,400 mm . The BA 615 D is also equipped with the well-known easy-fit hammers and the powerful CAT C . 71 engine with 225 kW ( 306 hp ).
