After several consecutive years of harvester manufacturers focusing in largely on increased power , this year ’ s review of harvesting technology has return to the more subtle variations suppliers can provide to improve performance and operator comfort .

This is not to say manufacturers have ignored power improvements – they certainly haven ’ t – but the bulk of the larger players such as Volvo , John Deere , Rottne , Tigercat and Komatsu have made their biggest advancements in manoeuvrability , agility and cab comforts and conveniences .
The exception to this theme was mid-tier manufacturer , Logset , which unapologetically pushed ahead with power enhancements for its 12H GTE model .
