Platform: "Pick Your Crown"

I dedicate my time and skills to help

those who have loss hair due to cancer or

other illnesses by giving them alternatives

to make them feel comfortable along their

journey of recovery. I picked this platform because in my profession I see everyday the way some of my clients feel about their hair before it's styled and how their mood might not be in high spirits. The look on their face when the process is complete is priceless. They feel more upbeat and lifted. My mom always said if you look good you'll feel better. Energy is a powerful resource and during the trying times patients face on chemo for cancer and other harsh drugs, I would like to share positive energy. Take away the constant reminder in the mirror that they are ill and replace it with a similar face that they seen before their journey into recovery.

Platform: Performing arts and the importance of it in school and every day.

I chose this platform because I believe the art of dance is my way to express thoughts and feelings. Dance helps transport me to a place of peace and contentment. It is imperative that I encourage others to do the same.
