TRAVIS CLAUSEN-KNIGHT Company Wayne McGregor
Born in Cape Town , South Africa , Travis Clausen-Knight moved to England and later graduated from the Arts Educational School , Tring Park in 2009 . While in training Travis won several awards for dance and choreography within the school and outside , including at the National Youth Ballet and the International Competition of Dance in Spoleto , Italy . Since graduating Travis has performed with Matthew Bourne ’ s world tour of Swan Lake and featured in the 3D film of the production . Travis was involved in Michael Clark ’ s TH residency at Tate Modern in 2011 , performed with Tavaziva Dance in their re-mount of Double Take and was part of the creation of Sensual Africa . Travis joined Company Wayne McGregor in 2013 . Travis ’ passion for choreography and creation also drives successful collaborations with other artists and a commitment to mentoring and teaching young creatives .
LUCIE FENWICK Paris Opera Ballet , Quadrille
Lucie Fenwick enrolled in the Paris Opera Ballet School in 1999 , and joined the Paris Opera Ballet in 2006 at the age of 18 . In 2013 , reviewing Danseurs Chorégraphes , Danzaballet described Lucie as “ beautiful , longilinear , seemingly perfect ,” while Resmusica wrote the previous year that Lucie was “ a dancer with outstanding personality [ who ] brings on stage a breath of modernity all her own .”
MARA GALEAZZI Guest Artist
Italian dancer Mara Galeazzi is a former Principal of The Royal Ballet . Mara joined The Royal Ballet in 1992 aged 18 and was promoted to Soloist in 1998 and Principal in 2003 , retiring at the end of the 2012 / 13 Season . Mara trained at the school of La Scala , Milan . Mara was awarded a Cavaliere del Lavoro medal by the President of Italy in 2009 and the Positano Prize in 2008 . Signature roles with The Royal Ballet included Juliet , Anastasia , Tatiana ( Onegin ), the Firebird , Manon , Giselle , Rite of Spring and Mary Vetsera ( Mayerling ). Since retiring Mara has returned to The Royal Ballet to create the role of Mother ( Ludovic Ondiviela ’ s Cassandra ) and to collaborate in Wayne McGregor ’ s Woolf Works . Further dance work includes founding the dance group M & T in Motion with choreographer Tim Podesta and collaborating with Company Wayne McGregor company in +/ - Human . In 2016 Mara ’ s first piece of choreography , Remembrance , was performed with Covent Garden Dance Company and Interrupted Cadence for Carta Blanca Dance performed Teatro principal Zaragoza .
