REBECCA BASSETT-GRAHAM

Company Wayne McGregor
Born in Ontario, Canada, Rebecca
Bassett-Graham trained at the
New Zealand School of Dance,
graduating in 2011. Rebecca
interned with New Zealand
Dance Company during their
2012 Rotunda development
project, and with DanceNorth
during director Raewyn Hill’s
work Bolera. Rebecca performed
in DanceNorth’s Townsville
Queensland season and through
the Australian Ballet’s Melbourne
season. Rebecca moved to London
in 2013 and worked with Lewis
Major, performing at Sadler’s
Wells and the TEDx conference
in London. Rebecca performed
her own works When All is Said
and Done at the Australian & New
Zealand Festival of Literature
and Arts in London, and It’s
Complicated and the assessor,
the latter co-choreographed
by Jono Selvadurai, at the C12
Dance Theatre Emerge Festival
in 2015. Rebecca has worked
closely with Beyond Repair Dance
Company and has participated
in research and development
for The Light Surgeons. Rebecca
joined Company Wayne McGregor
in 2017. Born in Manchester, Jordan
James Bridge started dancing
at the age of 14 and went on to
train at London Contemporary
Dance School working with Kerry
Nicholls, Richard Alston and
Tony Adigun. After graduating,
Jordan joined Alexander Whitley
Dance Company performing
The Measures Taken and The
Grit In The Oyster nationally
and internationally. Jordan has
toured with Tavaziva Dance
Company in 2015/16 and 2017
in the evocative work Africarmen.
In 2016 Jordan joined Michael
Clark Company, performing a
featured role in LAND during the
critically acclaimed To a Simple,
Rock and Roll… Song which toured
nationally and internationally.
Jordan has been commissioned
to create work at various
institutions and is currently
Resident Choreographer for
Berkshire County Dance Company
Youth, which was awarded Best
Performance at the 2016 U.Dance
Awards from Youth Dance
England. Jordan joined Company
Wayne McGregor in 2017.
CATARINA CARVALHO
Company Wayne McGregor
Guest Artist
Catarina Carvalho is a London-
based dancer and choreographer.
Born in Lisbon, Catarina trained
at École supérieure de danse
de Cannes Rosella Hightower
in France with a scholarship
from the Ambrosoli Foundation
(Zürich). Catarina’s career began
at Ballet de L’Ópera National du
Rhin, experiencing a broad range
of the company’s repertoire under
the direction of Bertrand D’At.
Catarina then moved back to
Lisbon and worked with various
choreographers including Javier
de Frutos, Vasco Wellenkamp
and Rui Horta among others.
Catarina danced for Company
Wayne McGregor from 2008—17
and has toured nationally
and internationally in various
company productions including
Entity, FAR, Atomos and Tree of
Codes. During this time Catarina
was also Rehearsal Assistant
and assisted Wayne McGregor in
Dyad 1909, Future Self and Outlier.
Catarina continues to collaborate
with Studio Wayne McGregor in
many projects and often teaches
workshops and masterclasses as
part of Studio Wayne McGregor’s
Learning program.
