PETER MATHESON Dramaturg
Since becoming freelance in 2002 , Peter Matheson has assessed scripts and worked dramaturgically with most of the major mainstage ( and many more smaller ) theatre companies and all the assessment agencies in Australia . Peter has taught playwrighting , handled residencies , contributed to development programs and tutored in organisations from tertiary institutions through to enthusiastic amateurs .
RACHEL BURKE Lighting Designer
Rachel Burke works nationally and internationally with Australia ’ s leading arts companies and has been awarded six Green Room Awards for Excellence in Theatre Lighting Design , IES Victorian and National Awards of Excellence in Lighting Design 2005 and 2010 , Helpmann Award nominations in 2005 ( Black Medea at Playbox / Belvoir ) and 2015 ( Marlin Melbourne Theatre Company / Arena Theatre Company ). Rachel is thrilled to be able to continue contributing design for new indigenous theatre on our festival stages .
RICHARD ROBERTS Set Designer
Richard Roberts is an Australian theatre designer and educator . Richard has designed for drama , dance , film , television and opera , and as a teacher he has held positions as Head of Design at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts , Head of Production at the Victorian College of the Arts and most recently Head of Design at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts .
