CHRIS RYAN Hamlet GENEVIEVE PICOT Gertrude JESSICA CLARKE Ophelia Chris Ryan is a double graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts in both Music (Voice) and Acting. Chris’ theatre credits include All My Sons, The Present (Broadway), Cyrano De Bergerac, Children of the Sun, Gross Und Klein, Baal, and Concussion for Sydney Theatre Company; King Kong for Global Creatures; Thyestes (as performer, co-writer and two-time Green Room Award Winner), Measure for Measure and The Promise for Belvoir; The Call for Griffin Theatre Company; Meow Meow’s Little Mermaid (local and Edinburgh Tour), Little Match Girl (local and London Tour), ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Thyestes and Elizabeth for Malthouse Theatre; The Hypocrite for Melbourne Theatre Company; Hamlet and Othello for Bell Shakespeare Company and Platonov for The Hayloft Project. Chris’ TV and film credits include Rake, feature film The Jammed and shorts Skeletons and Numurkah. Chris also co- wrote and performed in Andrew Tonight!; and co-wrote/adapted The Wild Duck (Belvoir), which toured internationally in 2014. Genevieve Picot graduated from NIDA in 1979 and has appeared in extensive film, theatre and TV roles. Genevieve’s theatre credits include The Great Fire and The Book of Everything (Belvoir Theatre), Rock’N’Roll, Queen Lear, The Aunt’s Story, The Rain Dancers, Away, Miss Bosnia, My Father’s Daughter, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Arcadia, A Flea in her Ear, The Sisters Rosensweig, Summer of the Aliens, On Top of the World, The Respectable Wedding, The Rivers of China, The Benefactors, Sons of Cain, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Top Girls, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Changeling, As You Like It, and Antigone (Melbourne Theatre Company), Small Metal Objects (Back to Back Theatre), The Spook (Malthouse Theatre), The Great Man (Sydney Theatre Company), and The Temple (Playbox Theatre). Since graduating from WAAPA in 2011, Jessica Clarke has appeared in various film, theatre and TV productions. Jessica’s TV credits include Offspring and Sisters, both directed by Emma Freeman, Glendyn Ivin’s The Beautiful Lie, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Theatre credits include Thérèse Raquin for Critical Stages/Dirty Pretty Theatre, Rules For Living for Red Stitch, Starchaser for Arena Theatre Company, Waltzing The Wilarra for Yirra Yaakin/ Perth Festival and Heaven for La Mama. Jessica’s film credits include Paul Currie’s 2:22, Sean McNamara’s The King’s Daughter and David Parker’s The Menkoff Method. Jessica was nominated as Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress at the 2011 WA Equity Guild Awards for Waltzing The Wilarra.
