The Association was registered with the registrar of associations on March 10, 1983 as an association under the Law of Association 1980 under the number 58-004030-1 and commenced operations on that date. B. The Association's goals to establish and maintain a day care and boarding control. Treatment center, to promotion and rehabilitate disabled children - brain damage. Counseling center for children and families of children treated for brain damage. C. The Association operates as a public institution under Section 9(2) of the Income Tax Ordinance and is registered as a nonprofit organization for purpose of the Value Added Tax Law. D. The Association is recognized as a public institution for the purpose of donations under Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance. E. The Association did not receive during 2016 and 2017 contributions from foreign political entities. Note 2 - Significant Accounting Policies A. Definitions: In these financial statements: The Association - ALEH - Help for the Special Child (a Registered Association). Net assets - The difference between assets and liabilities of the Association. Unrestricted net assets - Net assets of the Association that have not been restricted for use. Restricted net assets - That part of the net assets of the association arising from donations, appropriations or other income that their use has been limited by donors or other factors. Temporary restriction - Restriction expires or is removed upon occurrence of a particular event, or as time passes, or may be fulfilled or removed if certain actions are taken in accordance with stipulations of donors or outside parties that provided fund's. Related parties - As defined in Opinion 29 of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and in Accounting Standard 5 of the Israel Accounting Standards Board (IASB). 8
