2017 Camp Guide | Page 2

HAVE THE SUMMER EVER! Experience the outdoors at Girl Scout camp! You’ll make new friends and try something brand new. Have a blast while roasting s’mores over a crackling fire, aiming for bullseyes at archery, or swimming under the open sky. You’ll develop real outdoor skills by pitching a tent, whittling, canoeing across a lake, or cooking a meal over a fire you build yourself. Girl Scout camp is the best place to unplug and explore the world around you. We believe in girl-led planning, which means that you get to help shape the activities you do! If you’ve already been to camp before, we’re excited to welcome you back for another summer of great adventures. OUR LOCATIONS CAMP OPEN HOUSE DAY Whether for a day, a week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to develop confidence, build leadership skills, explore nature, and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults.
