Future Plans for the
Baker County Fairgrounds....
We are busy continuing work on the Conference & Event Center. The Baker County Fair continues to grow and we
are making changes in the facilities to accommodate the growth. Promptly after fair this year we will be repairing the
Grandstands and replacing the Rodeo Grounds fence, which Oregon Community Foundation has given a grant in the
amount of $7000.00.
In spring of 2018 we will be remodeling the north entrance to the Conference & Event Center. It will have a
foyer type entrance with two sets of double doors to help enhance our energy efficiency. We want to thank Ash Grove
Cement for their tremendous contribution of $20,000.00 to this project. We look forward to the new look & feel of the
“New” Conference & Event Center. Be sure to come over to check it out.
