Students Perform Flag Routine

The flag girls had a flag performance at
the football game on October 13.
They had their flag performance during half
time of the Alcester-Hudson football game in
Burke. The girls performed to the song
"We Go Together." The flag corps is directed
by Anna Matucha.
FUN FACT: Burke High School has been
doing Performance Flags since the year 2000.

dance was on October 14.

Guest Speaker Talks About Getting Out of Slump

"I’M BOBBY JONES. I speak around the country to thousands of youth
sharing my story. As a former division I athlete, I had dreams of going into
the NFL. Once I fell short of that dream, I found myself spiraling into
addiction and depression. I lost 10 years of my life to alcohol. After making
the choice to pull myself out of struggle and discover my purpose inside
the pain, I’ve made it my mission to empower today’s youth."
Bobby Jones came to Burke School on October 25 to talk about his
journey falling into the deep end to coming out and being a motivational
speaker.
