On The Playground
The second graders are learning about animal groups to get ready for there trip to Pete's Taxidermy, where they are going to categorize all of the animals. The students walk around and find all of the animals that they can find in the animal groups.
The students are also getting ready for the Continents Reader's Theater. The Class says different things about the continents and do a play about it, and share it to different classes.
The second graders are also learning how to make paper mache globes. Where they take an inflatable beach ball and cover in in paper mache, then they paint the Earth on it.
The first graders are talking about Thanksgiving and what it is about. The students are also talking about what they are thankful for.
The students also made veterans to hang up on the wall for the veterans and the community to see at the Veteran's Day Program on November 10.

The Kindergarten class has been learning about the first Thanksgiving and how the pilgrims lived their lives.
The students started out there Thanksgiving celebration with making Native headbands, pilgrim hats and and clay dishes to use for there "Count your blessing stew" they made to eat and enjoy.
