Cougars Demolish TDA/AC-DC

Burke/South Central took on the TDA/ACDC Nighthawks on September 15. They ended to night with the victory 60 - 6.
Leading the offensive charge was Ethan Delong with 124 rushing yards, 29 receiving yards, and scoring 3 touchdowns. The defense was led by Darin Witt with 4 tackles, an interception return for a touchdown, and a blocked punt returned for a touchdown.
"We were looking for a fast start and got it! Our team's execution was excellent. First game of the year that we did not have a turnover. We need to use this success to help us spring board into the last portion of our schedule," commented head coach Mike Sebern.
Cougars Wipe Out the Tornadoes

The Cougars travel to Centerville to take on the Tornadoes on September 22, bringing home a 58 -0 win.
Ethan Delong led the offense with 120 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Jaden Frank was 2-2 passing, with 2 passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. Defense was lead by Frank Even with 8 tackles. Jaden Frank and Tucker Even each had an interception.
"We made some big plays early to create a nice scoring cushion. All of our high school players were able to get some solid playing time and experience," commented coach Mike Sebern.
JV Cougars Roll Over the Cowboys

The JV Cougar football team travel to take on the JV Colome Cowboys on September 18. It was a close game but the Cougars took home a 22-20 win.
"I thought we played well, the line did a good job blocking, " coach Matt Lindholm commented.
