Her television career includes working at Global TV in Vancouver as an anchor / producer in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ( where she met her husband Curtis ) and as senior news anchor in Winnipeg , Manitoba , until moving to San Diego and News 8 . Barbara-Lee enjoys sports , especially hockey and her beloved Vancouver Canucks . Barbara- Lee ’ s favorite role is being a mom . She is delighted to help support the Charity Ball and Rady Children ’ s Hospital .
