ADVOCACY,

AWARENESS AND SERVING SURVIVORS

In 2016, Restore One has continued to bring awareness and advocacy to the need for restorative care for men and boys. We’ ve spoken at national conferences such as Shared Hope Faith Conference and Summit to End Sexual Exploitation. We’ ve also been featured on national news media such as NBC and the 700 Club on CBN. Often we are the only organization represented that works with sexually trafficked men and boys. Restore One has earned the notable reputation of consciously stirring the national culture to acknowledge the sexual trafficking of men and boys. Even as we press forward to open the doors of The Anchor House, Restore One staff are already hard at work advocating for male survivors through one on one mentoring, case consulting and training professionals. It’ s important for Restore One to maintain a national presence in the abolition community so we may start to see other organizations progress towards providing services for boys and men. I’ m encouraged as we gear up for 2017, and I believe we will see great advancement of the message of truth and freedom that Restore One brings.
