“We at ‘Elementary’ feel really privileged to have this
platform to be able to affect the national conversation
on things like sobriety and peer help when it comes to
stuff like suicide. But if I’m being honest, we have that
platform for 44 minutes a week, 24 weeks a year. And
there are a bunch of people in this room who have that
platform and do that work 7 days a week, 52 weeks a
year. So while I’m going to take this back to ‘Elementary’
with a lot of gratitude, one thing that I’m gonna leave
here tonight is my own gratitude for all the work of you in
the crowd who do this day-to-day.”
