The LWE Premiere Innovators Once you have been nominated or selected as a Leading Women Entrepreneur finalist, you are eligible to participate in an array of opportunities that will give you access networking events, media opportunities, marketing tools and prospective clients! As a premiere member you will be invited to bi-monthly membership networking events to at no cost. This is an effective way to market your self in an environment of success and gain access to leaders.
W. I. L. L. Fund- Women In Leadership Launching
The belief of the LWE network is that investing in women is simply smart business. We are announcing the launch of the W. I. L. L. Fund in 2015 which will invest in women entrepreneurs. It is the first and only of its kind.
Female entrepreneurs are often determined innovators who have the potential to scale their businesses and contribute to the economy in countless ways. Ultimate success requires access to capital and influential, collaborative, networks to propel growth – the same qualities that build market-leading companies. However, less then 3 % of women owned companies get investment funds.
This fund builds on the research that indicates that companies started by women are more successful in many ways: higher returns on equity, lowered risk, greater innovation, greater long-term orientation and greater client focus.
The fund represents a means for us to turn our beliefs into action by directing capital to these companies; it thus represents a market-based solution to a business opportunity and challenge.
How can you invest in the W. I. L. L. fund? Well, the LWE network already is!
A portion of the network’ s revenues will be invested in the fund. So by investing in yourself by joining the network, you are helping us invest in other women.
