Warrens is just north of Tomah by about
10 miles. Home to a number of expansive
cranberry marshes & the Wisconsin
Cranberry Discovery Center, you’re sure to
find something exciting to do while you’re
there! Warrens is also home to Jellystone
Park, Three Bears Lodge, and The Bog
Restaurant! So, while visiting Tomah,
be sure to take a little drive north, up to
Warrens for an experience like no other!

FUN FACT: Warrens is the host of WI’s
famous Cranberry Festival, which occurs every
year during the kick-off to cranberry harvest
season (the last full weekend in September).
This 3-day festival attracts more than 100,000
festival goers to Warrens, (which has a
population of only about 300) every year! This
is the largest Cranberry Festival in the world, so
it really is a sight to see! There are over 3 miles
of shopping (1,300 vendors) & non-stop fun!

FORT MCCOY
About 10 miles west of Tomah you will
find Fort McCoy. Fort McCoy is a total
force training center for the United States
Military. The fort has been helping to
support the readiness of the armed forces
since 1909. They also house Pine View
Campground & Whitetail Ridge Ski Area.
Pine View Campground consists of camp
sites, hiking trails, a lake, a beach, picnic
area, and much more. Whitetail Ridge has
slopes, paint ball, & laser tag!

FUN FACT: In 2014, the movie “Fort
McCoy” was released. The movie is a drama,
based on a true story. It is set in 1944; it’s
about a family’s experience with the American
Army & prisoner-of-war camp situated at Fort
McCoy during the second world war.
