ELAINE CROWLEY / MIDDAY ON TV3
Not only is Elaine Crowley presenter and producer of Midday on TV3 we are also super proud to have her on board as our Ambassador. Elaine has given us a number of opportunities over the past year to utilise her great panel show so that Breast Cancer Ireland can expand the reach on our education and awareness programme. Elaine has literally hopped, skipped and jumped for Breast Cancer Ireland. Having taken part in our Strictly Against Breast Cancer in 2015, then this year, even with a serious back problem, she took part in the Great Pink Run( with a camera crew for Celebrity Operation Transformation).

In June Elaine dedicated the show to those who have come through, those who have had scares, those who are researching the cures and those who support the efforts. We also discussed how important it is to support ongoing research and drive awareness of good breast health …. AWARENESS = SAVES LIVES.

Then in October to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month we were invited back to the show to join panellist Mary Byrne along with BCI Ambassador Emma Hannigan & Teresa Costello. Emma has just come through her 10th cancer diagnosis fighting on as she always does. Affectionately known as“ Our poster girl for research”-Emma herself, admits that it is the advances in research, that have given her newer and more powerful treatment options to keep her alive!
