Sherry Gile and Baneys Royal Night Breeze
Sherry Gile and “Beauty” achieved their 100 hour goal in 2014 and
continued to add to their time together, achieving the 500 hour
plateau in early 2015. Obviously these two spend a lot of time together. Beauty loves to drive and jump. Sherry and Beauty can be seen taking
long drives through their hometown of Penrose, Colorado - weather permitting. Beauty thrives on attention and many people stop to admire and pet her
during these outings. Sherry and Beauty also attend a few local shows offered
by the small mini club in their area. Beauty was shown by many children this
year who didn’t have a horse of their own to show. Sherry also attended one
AMHA show this year with Beauty placing very well in all her classes bringing
home many ribbons in both jumping and driving.

Sherry and “Chaser” logged many hours practicing in
their obstacle course at home. Taking his training one
step further, this year they also began ground driving with the goal
of getting into the full harness and cart sometime in the near future.
His halter training has progressed and he placed well at the local club
shows, even placing second at their year- end awards! Chaser is a bit
of a show off and loves to be the center of attention wherever he
goes.

Urban Acres Mr T Heartthrob, aka. Sparky, is an easy
going, up for anything kind of horse. And it’s a good
thing, because owner Carolyn Menzer believes in trying a bit of
everything at the horse shows she and Sparky attend. This year the
duo tackled an AMHA show where they won not only the Costume
class but placed in Halter Color class as well. Carolyn’s favorite class is
Costume, but she and Sparky also spend much of their time together
training for obstacle.
