FUND THE DREAM
Over the past 20 years, Meritus has provided $ 9.5 million in direct scholarship awards alone. Each $ 16,000 investment provides a Meritus Scholar with multi-year financial support and access to our comprehensive college success programming.
GUIDE THE JOURNEY
In 2016, Meritus Scholars received more than 1,200 hours of advising from our team. This individualized support covers all aspects of the college journey, including deciphering financial aid packages, connecting to campus resources, and navigating personal challenges.
PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE
Meritus recognizes that earning a college degree is only the beginning of a Scholar’ s success. In 2016, Meritus Scholars participated in more than 70 paid internships, the majority of which came through Meritus’ corporate and community partners. Scholars also received access to career workshops, informational interviewing, and comprehensive professional mentoring.
