For guests that have confirmed they will attend, please send this reminder email by 10/15/16.
Dear (friend's name):
Thank you very much for agreeing to attend the Young Women's College Prep Leadership Breakfast
as my guest. Just a reminder, the breakfast will be held on Wednesday, November 16th from 8:00
9:30am at Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Avenue in Brighton.
You should have already received the formal invitation in the mail. Please fill it out and indicate that
you will be attending as a guest of (your name), and return it to the YWCP Foundation office. My goal
is to have a full table of 10, so I'm really counting on you! Don't forget that each of us will be asked to
make a donation to support the programs of the YWCP Foundation, which are helping to put low
income girls on the path to college.
I want to let you know that there are several options for making a gift. A pledge can be paid by check
or credit card at the breakfast, or in installments after the event (monthly, quarterly, or semiannually.)
Thank you very much for joining me in this great community effort to improve education opportunities
for Rochester's girls.
Sincerely,
Your Name
You: "Hi Bill, this is Kate. How are you?"
Bill: "Great! How are you? How was your vacation?"

in a fouryear college. They do this by providing innovative programs that address many of the
barriers to a college education, such as the achievement gap, and a local of college awareness and
readiness."
Bill: "Wow that sounds great!"
You: "Well, it's an important issue because in the Rochester City School District, only 43% of students
graduate on time, and less than 10% are deemed "colle ge or career ready." It's a big job, but that's
why they are holding their annual Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, November 16th at Temple
