FEARGAL MURRAY
Feargal is a pianist and
composer from Derry,
who studied in Edinburgh
and London. Now based in
Dublin, he has collaborated
artistically with Camille
O’Sullivan for the last 15
years. As a songwriter he has written songs
for The Celtic Tenors, Moya Brennan, Triniti,
George Murphy and has co-written with leading
songwriters Jimmy MacCarthy and Brendan
Graham. He has enjoyed album chart success
in the USA, the UK and Ireland, including a
Grammy-nominated album. He co-wrote an
award-winning musical adaptation for the
Royal Shakespeare Company of Shakespeare’s
The Rape of Lucrece with Camille O’Su llivan.
As a session pianist/keys player, Feargal has
played with many leading artists, appeared
on numerous TV and radio shows including
Later... with Jools Holland, and has performed at
prestigious venues across the world.
CAMILLE O’SULLIVAN
Camille was raised in Cork
to a French mother and
Irish father. Previously an
award-winning architect
and portrait painter, Camille
has become internationally
renowned for her
interpretations of the songs of Jacques Brel,
Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Kurt Weill. As much
storyteller as singer, she shows a fearlessness
in her work with her emotional, intense
performances. Her solo shows include London’s
Royal Festival Hall, the legendary Roundhouse,
Apollo Theatre and Sydney Opera House. She’s
performed on BBC’s Later... with Jools Holland,
and was an original La Clique performer (Olivier
Award 2010). She was awarded a coveted
Herald Award for her solo performance of the
Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Rape of
Lucrece (Edinburgh International Festival 2012,
with original music by Camille and Feargal
Murray), and a Helpmann Award 2015 for
Changeling. Recently, Camille was chosen by Yoko
Ono to perform Double Fantasy Live at Meltdown
RFH alongside Siouxie Sioux and Patti Smith.
