VOLUNTEERING
We want parents to be a part of the school setting whenever possible and encourage them to participate in our classroom volunteer program that helps to reduce the adult-student ratio. Speak with your child’ s teacher to volunteer in the classroom. The PTO is another way to get involved at BR FLAIM.
During immersion classes, only volunteers who speak the language may work with the teacher and students in the classroom. However, parents may arrange to work outside of the classroom when working with one child or a small group. When in the classroom, students should hear no English.
