DEEP TRACKS
Deep Tracks are composed of two, seventy-five-minute sessions presented by nationally respected leaders on the same day and separated by a lunch break. The three hours of cumulative presentation time allows attendees the opportunity to dive deeper into the topical theme of the Deep Track. Attendees are encouraged( but not required) to attend both parts of a Deep Track.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops are offered over five rounds: Round A; Round B; Round C; Round D; and Round E. Each session focuses on specific knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by ministry professionals and volunteers who have a basic to moderate experience level in ministry.

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM FRIDAY KEYNOTE- CONNECT TO MISSION – Bishop Frank J. Caggiano Bishop Frank J. Caggiano is the fifth bishop of Bridgeport. He is a native of Brooklyn. He attended Yale University before transferring to Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception where he graduated summa cum laude and was ordained to the priesthood in 1987. In addition to serving on four committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops( USCCB), including the Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth, he is also the episcopal
advisor to The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry.

Kara Powell, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Fuller Youth Institute( FYI) and a faculty member at Fuller Theological Seminary. Named by Christianity Today as one of 50 Women to Watch, Kara serves as a Youth and Family Strategist for range, and also speaks regularly at parenting and leadership conferences.

A 03 The Deep Breath of Prayer: Prayer for Missionary Discipleship – Julianne Donlon-Stanz
Inspired by the words of Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium, " Without prolonged moments of adoration, of prayerful encounter with the word, of sincere conversation with the Lord, our word easily becomes meaningless," we lose energy as a result of weariness and difficulties and our fervor dies out.
Julianne Donlon-Stanz serves as Executive Vice President for Life Teen International, but he is known s the Director of the Department of New Evangelization for the Diocese of Green Bay and serves as a consultant to the USCCB Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis.

A 04 The Art of Accompaniment: It is All about the Incarnation and What Has Happened to Us!

Bringing the Good News to those on the margins requires us to learn the“ art of accompaniment,” which begins with our own ability to humbly connect with the person before us. Father Jeff will share scripture stories, personal experiences, and practical lessons from more than nineteen years of working with youth in Camden, New Jersey, to examine how to best go about the critical task of accompaniment awaiting all missionary disciples. Fr. Jeff Putthoff, SJ, is the President of St. John ' s Jesuit in Toledo, Ohio Prior to beginning this job in the summer of 2016, Father Jeff founded Hopeworks‘ N Camden.
