Need for Sponsors
Many children all across Peru are part of a broken home. Alcoholism, drug and physical abuse leave a family broken and sometimes beyond repair. Children left behind in these circumstances often bottle up their emotions and are crying on the inside. Be a part of a child’ s life. Encourage them. Share with them the peace and joy that only God can provide. Pray for their prayer requests and exchange love-filled hugs.
Need for Food & Water
Do not let their outfits trick you. Though they may be adequately dressed, the little white discolorations on their faces tells a different story. Many families in Peru suffer from malnutrition. Their diets are high in starches and protein that leads to digestion problems, high cholesterol, and in some rare cases, death. Fruits and healthy probiotic yogurt are rare to come by and clean drinking water is scarce. Your support goes towards providing healthy, balanced meals for a child in need. It guarantees that your child will receive meals every week, fruits and vegetables on occasion and medical assistance.
