is their huge eyes, filled with hope and aspiration. Their eyes are shining like the morning stars. You are so drawn to their huge smiles, spanning from one ear to the other. You would want to adopt all of them into your family today. They are the children of India.
Hanhee Kim World Mission Center has been praying for the children of India for a long time. We waited over ten years for the guidance and leadership of the Holy Spirit. It is our motto that we will always follow a half step behind the Holy Spirit. And our God answered our prayers and opened the door to India in 2016. India is located in the Southern part of Asia. It has the second highest population after China, and their land mass is the 7th largest in the world. It shares its borders with China and Nepal to the north, Pakistan to the West, Myanmar to the East and the Indian Ocean to the south. New Delhi is the capital city. The Thar Dessert, also known as the Great Indian Desert, is an arid region in the west of India. The great Himalayas is to the north of India.
Our God has led us to the region of Hyderabad, which is located in the central part of the eastern coastal area of India and to a young pastor named Samuel Abraham.
Pastor Samuel is a second-generation pastor. His father was a Hindu, but one day Jesus met him personally. Pastor Samuel gave his life to Christ and served His kingdom as a pastor. But when Pastor Samuel was 14 years old, his father was called to be with the Lord. Fortunately, Pastor Samuel had a praying mother who encouraged him to be a secondgeneration pastor.
Now, Pastor Samuel is continuing the legacy of pastoring in his hometown. He is tirelessly working for the poor children. He got married not too long ago and had his first child. Now, he has 21 children. That’ s right, he is also taking care of 20 orphans at his house.
In his tiny house, he has been supporting 20 orphans with his young wife. He needed an orphanage and this emptied his savings account. Unfortunately, his funds ran out as he barely finished the flooring of the orphanage. All the boys are sleeping on the floor of the church since his house is way too small to accommodate them all. Now, he and his wife are expecting their second child at any time.( Before the printing of this magazine, they had their second child). God’ s timing is so perfect. He has never been late. Now, we understand why He waited this long to open the door for us to India. Our God has used a sponsor church in Oklahoma to open our eyes to see the need for the orphanage. Then, He inspired another sponsor to provide the funds to finish the orphanage building. We will see the beautiful orphanage in Hyderabad and our new ministry in the heart of India will begin soon.
Among many of the precious children, with shining big eyes and beautiful smiles, most are suffering without food to eat, clothes to wear, a house to live in and parents to love them. Our Father in heaven wants to comfort and heal their wounded hearts and bodies. Abba Father wants to transform their lives from children of hopelessness to the children of Jesus. And He is asking us to become the parents they never had.
Holy Spirit is leading us to the heart of the Indian children. Won’ t you join us? Will you help them receive His kingdom into their hearts, so that their names will be written in the book of life in His kingdom?
