Take me to Dawson City
Grade 8 Class,
Robert Service School, 1m
The Klondike Gold Rush was a unique
product of the economic and social
conditions of the time, blended with the
isolation and mystique of the northern
frontier, and the cosmopolitan mix of
people involved. The impact of Dawson
City’s colourful history on Canada, and on
Canadian’s vision of their country is much
larger than the small town today would
lead you to believe.
