THANKSGIVING THOUGHTS

So I was asked to write a poem for the thanksgiving I was at a loss for words so I decide to go this route. More like what thanksgiving means to me… first let me say as I get older thanksgiving is like a memorial day for me since my dear friend passed away on thanksgiving. I miss them every day of my remaining days. Since that day a few years ago when thanksgiving rolls around, I get sad at first do to loss of my friend then I also think of the other dear ones...I lost. Then I try to remember a cool thing that happened as we were together till I smile and they may be gone of this body as long as I can still recall great times these people are alive in our hearts. Then I concentrate on the living...telling people how I love them so many people touch our lives in so many ways though out our lives but we never tell them thank you or I love you.
Thanksgiving is not just about the feast it’s about giving thanks for what we have as you sit around that table and eat remember to say something good about the people you are with many people have touched my life in recent years … you all made me the person I am and I thank you all...so this thanksgiving shut down your cell phones step away from your laptop and be human again and tell people how you feel about them...we have lost the art of conversation...none of us is guaranteed tomorrow and it could be the last time we see a loved one. I am so blessed thank you to my BRM family I love you all so much...honestly I thought I be writing for just one issue and be gone but it’s been awhile and I love it
